Amit Basu

Amit Basu is an experienced chief technology officer with a long track record helping companies grow their technical infrastructure and staff. He is a seasoned executive and has managed lines of business, process re-engineering, operations, software development, infrastructure, consulting, and technical sales.

Over a career spanning 20+ years, Amit has hired over 100 people into technical roles including development, project management and QA. He has created and managed successful development teams and rolled out new methodologies such as Agile Development. He has both lived and worked for many years in Europe, America, and Asia and has visited over 50 countries whilst working with international banking clients.

Amit is an avid iPad and iPhone user, having converted his last company’s sales and support staff over to the iPhone from the Blackberry. As well as having a deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Amit is also a Macintosh user and technology enthusiast – including computer games.

He is a fan of role-playing games and a huge enthusiast of Skyrim and has built a state-of-the-art desktop at home specifically for that game. He is also a Black Belt and assistant instructor in Tae Kwon Do, as well as an avid skier and bicyclist.
